When I was crutches and couldn’t get up the stairs I used an empty Hoegaarden bottle, plenty of room to spare! You need to be careful with your japseye/bottle top positioning though.

You want to try doing it in a milk bottle, coz you have to try and aim the tip so it goes in the bottle (no way are you actually getting it in the neck of the bottle) and then as you say, the ‘Oh shit, it’s rising fast and I’ve loads left’ bit comes thereafter. So you have to rid yourself of it, then try and fucking aim again. I speak from experience too many times to mention.
