The story about the met office director getting the raise is good but my favourite line is :’Campaigners said the payments were “jaw-dropping”
I won’t even continue with the rant I felt coming on coz I know you know what I’m thinking.
It’s good that most news story are pretty much a case of twat vs wanker.

I was all set to argue that when I was checking the weather from Sunday on, it very clearly said “Heavy snow” on monday/tuesday night (3am) for several days prior to it actually happening (I use the BBC weather website, localised to Harrogate…)

However, I look out of my window now and it’s snowing. Totally not predicted at all in the last 24 hours and it still says “Sunny” on the BBC website!

I totally agree on your point about the wrong weather forecasts that get churned out … like the BBQ summer we were meant to enjoy… ha!
Don’t quite agree on the Honda Civic drivers though
